In springtime you can start long walks in the nature directly at the house, with the possibility of watching moose or with a lot of luck you can also see a wolf or bear. In addition, courtship cranes and Canada geese offer an impressive natural spectacle.
On the mild summer evenings you can enjoy the sunset on the river, grill your own caught fish on the campfire or simply enjoy the grandiose atmosphere and the tranquility of nature. From time to time you can see a pair of beavers that have settled nearby. And even when it is raining you can sit outside on the covered veranda in the middle of nature.
There is direct access to the river from which you can easily get into the water.
A rowing boat or a canoe are available for fishing and discovery tours on the river.
In late summer and autumn  there are plenty of delicious blueberries and cranberries and various mushrooms on the walking paths in the immediate vicinity.
In the winter, who is actually still a real winter here, with plenty of snow and dry cold, offers ice fishing on one of the many lakes a special experience, and when the snow is closed you should definitely explore the impressive landscape in the area on cross-country skis or snowshoes. You will be amazed!
